Photoshoot: Panamera Turbo introduction

Porsche brought the new 2010 Porsche Panamera Turbo to Seattle for an introductionary party coupled with the showing of a series of planes at Boeing Field. There were a few other Porsche models present as well. My impressions thus so far is positive. Porsche also brought a few instructors from the PSDS (Porsche Sport Driving School) whom I recognized from my trip there. They were there to give a chance to try out the new Boxster S/Cayman S with PDK around an autocross course as well as give us hot lap rides too.

Here are a few pictures to start:

A familiar face, the 997 GT3

2010 987 Boxster

Stay tuned for more pictures

I am not much of a fan of the Panamera looks. However, I had a chance to sit in one as well as watch one do hot laps around Laguna Seca all weekend as a Turbo Panny was the pace car for the Monterey Historics. I came away from the event thinking that I could probably live with the looks, it is spacious (even for someone my size), it has one of the most beautiful interiors I have ever seen, and it is impressively fast around Laguna Seca which is an extremely tricky track that can easily expose a car's handling problems.

IcebergLancelot47 is an unknown quantity at this point
Everytime I see the PDK in the Panamera, I'm reminded of two Vertu phones side by side...
