Used Cayenne S or Turbo?

I'm thinking about trading in my truck for an ~06 Cayenne. I started looking around and it seems that the Turbos can be had for around the same price as the S. Any obvious reasons why I should not look for a Turbo? Probably want something under 45k miles. Are they pretty reliable over all? I assume there was no bluetooth available in the 06 cars. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The 06 Cayennes were considered to be much more reliable than the MY04 and MY05.

I had an 06 Cayenne Turbo, and I wouldn't hesitate buying another.

atlshaver is an unknown quantity at this point
Go for it. 05 and 06 are very reliable and you will absolutely love the Turbo. If possible, search for an 05 with the factory PowerKit or and 06 S. The extra power, massive brakes, etc. make it even more special.

I don't think there are any major differences in cost, one just has a twin turbo, but otherwise there the same. I think?

Thanks for the input guys. Now how about between an '08 S and an '06 Turbo. I think there were some major updates for MY 08?

I have owned a 06 S and a Turbo S. The normal S was a great car and extremely reliable but the Turbo S is on a different level, from the luxury, power and small differences between the two, it was worth the upgrade. My biggest issue with it is every 1k miles it needs more oil....

My Turbo has the phone system so I just put a sim card in and was good to go.

I just test drove an '08 S and an '06 Turbo S. Pretty sure i'm going to have to get at least a Turbo, and maybe a Turbo S if I can find one at the right price. What an amazing car...
