out with the old... in with the new

Having tried to sell my 997 gt2 for some time (red with red wheels seems to be popular mostly with....... actually I seemed to be the only one) finally the answer came to me.

Get Porsche to take it from me by ordering a Panamera Turbo.

Presto, so on the 15 of september I should receive a black/black one with ceramic brakes, pdcc and all the other toys.

I was completely disinterested in the car until i saw the boot... I can put my dog in it! He ain't going to like it much, but I suspect I will.

Congrats, and you still have the 993 so you probably won't miss it much! Pretty please when you get it drop it a bit and maybe put some larger wheels on?

Although I'd never trade in a GT2 for a Panny, more power to you for making the switch to what is arguably the fastest, most capable family hauler in existence.

thanks guys..

I got a dog a year ago.. and he is constantly following me around. squeezing past the seats in the gt2 and then watching him being pressed up against the side windows when i cornered hard took the enjoyment of driving away somewhat. I only drove 400miles in 1 and half years ...... PATHETIC!

I am very very sceptical about the panamera. To be honest I only really got it because Porsche offered me too much for the GT2 and they could get me a well specced car in the first batch. I figured I can drive it a little, and if I can't get over the looks.... then I will sell it quickly and hopefully not come out in a much worse position.

First ugly car I have ever bought... hopefully it will be like an ugly child that you love despite of all shortcomings. I can always look at the dog in the boot to cheer me up.
