no thanks... Porsche will have it off the market within 3 years

 

Just built on...came to $175k for that much money I would rather have a used 997 Turbo and an S65.

 

I actually had quite a bit of fun building a Panamera Turbo last night. I specced mine out to be Aqua Blue with Creme and Yachting Blue interior, sport seats, yachting mahogany wood trim, RS wheels, PCCBs, Sports Chrono package, all badging removed, and a few other options. I got done designing it and was really proud of my work and happy with the way I specced it and then I saw the button to look at it from the rear and figured I should admire my work from all angles. Big mistake. I spun it around to the rear and just about threw up on my desk! Still hideous from the rear!

 

It continues to amaze me that Porsche still charges $150 for floor mats even on a Turbo model that will easily list for more than $150k with options. And $210 for a heated steering wheel? I believe this is std on all the competition including the Cayenne TT. Offer the car in a 5 passanger configuration and I'd be all over it - bye bye CTT.

Hopefully some of these other options will trickle down to the other models (997TT):

Carbon/heated steering wheel
Sport Chrono face color matched to standard gauges
Sport exhaust
Some interesting new color options (Carbon Grey Met)
20" RS Spider wheels

 

Can someone give an opinion of how the car looks live, esp. from the rear end? Perhaps the pictures do not do it full justice cos it looks like a station wagon.
