2010 Porsche Panamera First Look on Inside Line

"We now know that 2010 Porsche Panamera will start at $89,800 for the S model, rising to $93,800 for the 4S and $132,600 for the Turbo. "

I was under the impression the base price would be going for close to 130k or so, 90 puts it in 7 series or s-class territory, making it seem very reasonable.

 

In 2008 I had sold a Mercedes S63 for $153K, two S65's for 190K+, several BMW Alpina B7's over $120K and two Audi A8 W12's for $141K. The new Maserati Quattroporte Gt S starts at 133K.

I currently have four Turbo Panamera's on order for clients. The most expensive one is in the low 150's. Is it priced higher than the competition?

The A8 I have on the showfloor is at $87,625, our new 750li is 102,780 and our S class inventory is always at or above $100,000 with the AMG sport wheels. The 4S falls right in line with the competition as well. As a guy making a living selling the competitive product as well as the Porsche I don't feel the pricing is out of line.
