Question 2006 Turbo S or 2008 Turbo for 20k extra?

Well,

my Wife and I we are thinking to up-grade out Cayenne S but I still not clear of which one could be better.

2006 Turbo S or 2008 Turbo for 20k extra?

I like the Turbo S to be a Rare Cayenne, 2008 Turbos are already 7 on the paper and just 1 2006 Turbo S.

Is it much better to get a 957 Cayenne Turbo over a 955 Turbo S to pay the 20k extra?

Thanks!

Pierre, I think it would depend on your intentions for the car and what options are on the 08 Turbo. If the 08 TT has PDCC, you should definitely go for it. And which front appearance appeals to you more?

Also, you planning on buying or leasing? If buying (and the 08 does NOT have PDCC), then I would go for the 06 TTS and save the depreciation hit (and apply the savings toward your future Panamera). If leasing (regardless of PDCC), you may want to go for the 08 TT since the payment delta won't be much and you don't have to worry about depreciation.

Hope that helps - good luck.

Thumbs up

Thanks!...the 08 TT is black with 21', low kms and No PDCC...and with this color and wheels appearance appeals more than the 06TTS but ...I was expecting that the 08 TT will ride better than a 06 TTS....mm interesting.

06 TTS, has more Km, is meteor grey and as all TTS good in options, just missing rear camera and panoramic roof.

We are trading the Cayenne S and buying it and you hit the point, "06 TTS and save the depreciation hit" and apply the savings toward your future Panamera...

Thanks agan!

The 08 TT may ride better with the 21" wheels but you could always just get some 22"s for the 06 TTS (but then the diff wouldn't be $20k any more). I think you should also think hard about the mileage difference and the interior condition of the cars -- people tend to not take care of Cayennes as they do 911s so you don't want to get a nasty interior that smells bad.

Does the 08 TT have rear camera and pano? Are both interiors black?

I can't really justify it but I'd go for the 08 TT just in terms of appearance it looks way better..... good luck with whatever you end up getting

Both interior are black and in excellent condition.

06TTS

The 08 TT has not rear camera neither Pano...

The 08 TT has only 7,000 km (4,347 miles) and the 06 TTS has 28,000 km (17,391 miles).

Thanks for your imput!

I really don't think that the original TTS is all that special. When I was looking for a Cayenne I found two for around $75-80 each, and that was before the economy when to hell.
