How is the ride quality? Also which HRE's were you looking at?

To be honest this is the FIRST Cayenne that I have really liked. Your choice in wheels IMO finally brought the ballance to this car that it has been so lacking. Bravo.

The ride quality is good except for large dips in the rode. With the setting to normal and riding at loading level the car handles very well. Hardly any body roll. Since it has Air Suspension the compression on the bags were affected obviously by the lowering of the car with the lowering links as well. I have overidden the auto-raise from loading level to keep it at the loading level. But without the lowering links to bring down the car a little more and in effect it changes the compression in the bags it stiffened up the bouncy ride at the loading level because othersise there was still more air in the bags which caused some of the bounciness. Does that make sense?

Yes I could have gone with a $2500-$3000 module but I didn't spend anywhere near that to accomplish what I wanted

I will take better pictures from different angles. Once I have the 305/35/22 on I will see how much more room I have to put a rear spacer on - perhaps 10mm or 17mm.

MichaelM - I was originally looking at P58 or P53's Monoblocks. I like the design. But in all honestly I am over spending too much money on wheels.

Thanks all for the compliments. I am very happy with the choice.

V-Moda's are nice and I think the are not too bright.

I tried a set of the SE310 Shures and they were really nice. But I don't listen of music on earphones to justify the price.

Looks great buddy. I'm considering a Cayenne as a DD for myself. Did you end up selling the old wheels, where they 20's or 22's?

Hi Alpine,

Like this new shoes, simple, elegant, nicely match to our silver trim.

I may consider them, where is a good place to order? Thanks.

I really love how your car turned out Alpine. Simple, clean and classy.

I agree with you with the advantages of the Links vs. Module but with the module there is a piece of mind that you get. The dealership usually doesn't hassle you (especially since they haveto do the final install on most modules.) Also, for example with the TechArt module, it automatically lowers itself all the way down when you lock the vehicle.

Either way, your car turned out fantastic!
