Post More details on 9ff's Panamera Plans....

.

Porsche’s Panamera sedan isn’t expected to hit the market until the first half of next year but already we have details about one of the first tuner kits for the car, courtesy of these latest renderings from 9ff and TopCar. You may recall 9ff as the company behind other extreme Porsches such as the Veyron-rivaling GT9 supercar and the 780hp (582kW) 911 Turbo Cabrio. TopCar is a Russian firm that has joined forces with 9ff for this project.

The partnership is divided along functional lines: TopCar will handle the design aspects of the kit, 9ff will handle the performance upgrades and another firm called Cardi will actually fabricate the necessary body parts. The three companies have collaborated on similar projects in the past, and hope this time around to produce one of the first hotted-up Porsche super-sedans in the world.

The project is, however, still in its very earliest stages. While there are no actual specs for the kit, we can gather several crucial details from these renderings including the final shape of the Panamera itself. We can see for the first time the shape of the car’s glasshouse, including the rear hatch window, as well as the shape of the taillights and rear diffuser design. 9ff says that every external body panel will be replaced by the kit, perhaps offering an opportunity to iron out some of the more bizarre aspects of the Panamera's design.

The standard Panamera is expected to be available with a number of different engines ranging from a 3.6L V6 up to a twin-turbocharged 4.8L V8. However, on its release only a pair V8s, one naturally aspirated and the other turbocharged, will be available and one of these is likely to be the base on which the 9ff package is developed on.

Looks good. They should move around some sheet metal on the back while they're at it.

Yea I might be able to get into that. But at the price this will cost over the already expensive Panamera I'd still just get a Rapide or Estoque...I think need to see this for real
