Your post has inspired a question. Can you point me in any direction for equipment and install for gear into a Jag? My sales guy car is in serious need, but I've been given a lot of "sorry" from anyone I speak with. And I HATE the Jag dealers in Atlanta. I'd rather deal with the in car system than give them any business.
yea, the kids these days have taken the install game to a whole new level, some amazing work out there. Many see a bad ass car, I see hundreds and hundreds of hours of sanding, lol

Hey Bro, thinking of doing a system in the winter car. E430 4Matic. It's the runner, had 85K on the odo. Has BOSE, do I have to replace it all or can we do a amp and separates with a sub? It's coming back from Miami, could have it dropped off. Still like the original head unit and do not need nav, what are your thoughts?

Is it the factory h/u you want to keep? A bose pkg that came with the car?

If so, that will drastically reduce your capabilities. Prob not worth The upgrade.

I totally understand when you are very comfortable with the unit you know so well but give a new one a little time and you may be surprised how soon you can get comfortable again. Plus you'll have all the latest technology.

Speakers come later, signal is everything so concentrate on that first. A dirty signal, sent thru the best amps and played thru the best speakers,....will be an amplified dirty signal.
