New Traffic Law in British Columbia.

New Traffic Law in British Columbia.
As many of you know, driving 40K over the limit gets your car impounded.
Here are some suggestions to have this new law changed. Please pass this along.
The only way to have this law changed to where it is more reasonable is to hurt the government where it has the most effect.
1) Contest every driving infraction, this one act would bring the traffic court system to a grinding halt. The only reason the government offers a $25.00 discount to tickets if paid in 30 days is to prevent the court system from being overwhelmed with cases.
2) Create a foundation that manages a slush fund for fighting these tickets. I for one would pay into such a foundation. These funds would then be administered accordingly based on the offense. Administer: Lawyer's who loves to drive the snot out of their car
3) Priceless smile on my face as the government has to do an about face on this new law!
More suggestions are gladly welcomed.
Like the HST recall, we cannot stand idly by waiting for changes. We the people have a voice and we need to make it heard in a way that makes the government listen. This is the thin edge of the wedge my friends....do nothing and you will kick yourself in the future.

Cheers all,

How about not having grossly inadequate speed limits?
Same car, same road. It's "safe" to drive 250kph in Germany but dangerous enough to get you in prison in America. It's bullshit is what it is.
We have a similar law here in QC.
It's grossly misused by police who loooooves to sit on transition areas (speed limit dropping from 100 or 90 to 50) or on city highways (which are 6 lanes but limited to 70kph).
It doesn't do anything for inattentive drivers or drivers who just plain can't drive.
This repression is getting out of hand.

although some roads like ones i drive on in nyc everyday are pothole ridden, traffic laden and very dangerous at the speed limit and below let alone the speeds i drive at from time to time, furthermore the drivers in germany are accostomed to driving at those speeds and are used to other drivers driving faster in the left lane and look out for them, american drivers are too busy eating a cheesburger and a milkshake to worry about other drivers
with that said, the open interstates and major turnpikes and highways where the road allows should have the speed limits raised, those speed limits were decided upon in the 50's, we now have cars that have been made to handle higher speeds and so the limit should be raised
