MY wife and I have a 97 VW Cabrio for sales right now that we will let go for $3,500. New top, tires, battery. Dark blue "Hi-line" model with tan leather and brand new black top. Overall in great shape. 133k miles, plenty of life left in it.

That sounds like a pretty sweet car. Why are cars so cheap in the states.

Needs to be in Canada though, Calgary to be specific. Bit of a long shot.

The question you should ask is why you and your fellow countrymen put up with insane import tariff on cars.

I mean, a GT2 is like 600K to 1 mil USD in many Asian countries because of tariff.

Yeah its borderline retarded. Especially when the Japanese imports kill resale to.

GT2 runs close to 650k here.
