How did you get the interior trim painted?
I have a 981, Mexico Blue on order and Porsche won't paint the interior trim.
Can you please tell me exactly how you did this or I can PM you my cell and you can call me.
Thanks-Dick
BTW, just gorgeous!

I know the price tag is very much on the rich side, however I got it direct from Porsche so Im not paying quite that
I ordered the car over a year ago and it's taken forever to get here. But it looks great and I'm excited to pick it up and drive it. Not sure how long it may last in the family sadly but we shall see.

Looks sick. And agree that we need pics of it outside with the top down. A few thins i am wondering:
- why no lighted door sills, painted seat backs, or Sport Techno wheels?!
- what was the cost to do the PTS Rivi Blue?
- where is the pic of said girl that will look great in it?

Congrats! Awesome spec!
Just wondering though, why didn't you just spend the extra 10k and get a Carrera S? Seems a little crazy for a Boxster IMO. But maybe thats just because I wouldn't buy one if it had 10k taken off the MSRP lol

Awesome looking 981 and the stitching is amazing looking !! Can't wait to see some more pictures when you get a chance. I would also consider some Euro Clear Side Markers if you haven't already. Enjoy

Hi everyone. While I appreciate there are always questions as to why someone would order a car, or pay an absurd price for a Boxster for instance, there are always answers and here are mine.
Why boxster, ? Why not? Its far and above better than the 991 Carrera or Carrera S, and I know from experience as I did the SpeedTV test drive on the new Porsche. The 911 has lost its edge, the Boxster has gained that edge, its fun, its fast, and its rewarding for the driver. Not to mention Im 6'2" and I fit perfectly in the Boxster, something I never thought I would say!
As for the color. I wanted Riviera blue as I briefly owned the Riviera blue Boxster Spyder that was famous online, and thought it would be fun to do that again. However the Spyder lacked the interior details. There was no color, no stitching, nothing that stood out. I decided in this car to go all out, spec a car that I would love, and others would appreciate. Therefore I did it.
Here are a couple new pics from delivery today. I love the car, have now done clear side markers and it looks really sharp.

Now there was one issue with today. I drove in to pick up the Boxster in my new X5M BMW. My mom was looking at a Cayenne turbo and when I looked out back of Byers Imports in Columbus I saw there. Of course, I had to have it! Another crazy spec'd car, 134k window sticker, but I couldnt refuse. I am happy as hell, I love driving it, what a SUV!
