Nailed it!!!
I think this car will be to the Cayman line as the 997 was to the 911 line. PERFECT. Its just enough 'old' Cayman mixed with just the right amount of updates. If the interior is a little more 'up market' and the space inside is a little larger --- along with nicer wheels (20s!) and some killer head & tail lights - thats it.
Now, from a performance standpoint - just make it as quick and responsive as the original Cayman is/was...with a little bump in power...and thats that.
Overall, i think this is a homerun for Porsche and will def be in my garage when they are released. Now - what color combo?

Really agree pearlcoupe. For me, the Boxster has a lot of really nice details, but they all come together in a sort if awkwardly proportioned, boxy type. With the sloping roof of the Cayman, this looks perfect. The design is really brought together here; this very well could be the highlight of the Cayman series.
