I noticed one nice feature I wasn't aware of before I got the car:
For the first time in Porsche history, the Sport Chrono clock makes sense... it actually shows the time!
In previous generations, that dial was just a stop watch...
(Don't worry... for the hard core purists, there is an option in the vehicle settings to disable time display and make the Sport Chrono clock just a stop watch again... )

Perfect timing for summer weather as well!
the car looks great and the ride is somehow less bumpy/raw than in the 987,which was actually something I liked...but then again the 981 is as you said a huge step forwards in so many points
one thing I found quite annoying is that when you turn left/right and look in the side mirrors you see the curves of the rear fenders..I always love seeing that ass in the mirrors,BUT in the 981 that ass is not round...one always looks at what begins round and then has an edge in it..
did you notice that yet?
anyway..enjoy it and drive as much as time and weather permits!
