A few pictures from my weekend in Gran Canaria: 981 Content

Thanks for posting, must have been a great event!
This is actually the first time I see a pic of a car with exactly the spec of my own build: The white Boxster S in the third picture. Looks like I made the right choice, it looks stunning!
It looks like a 987 managed to sneak it's way into the crowd of 981's in one pic, what's up with that?

They had 987's for us to drive to compare the difference. I was with Mark Farage from Town Porsche in New Jersey at the track. Our first run was in a 987 and I could not believe how much quicker the guy in fromt of was, damn good driver. We swapped into the 981 and I destroyed him. It's that much of a difference.
The evolution to the new car is unprecedented. I will follow Casey with a review this weekend/next week.
We did get a look at the new Cayman as well. Stunning. Won't be out until next spring though. I was under the impression it was Dec/Jan but we will have to wait a bit longer than anticipated. It will be worth it.
(Note to Casey - we travel half way around the world and I never got to meet your wife? How did that happen?)

Hi Brobbins, I don´t get it. why would it take so long?. Is it going to be too different from the Boxster?, did it look different than the renderings we have seen?. I found an article from somebody at Porsche and he said that they might show it during L.A Auto show in Novemeber.

LA would actually make sense for timing. Traditionally Porsche will do an auto show release four or five months before release.
