Working on it. A friend who went last year wants to go with me so i am waiting for him to get back to me. You will know when i do
LOL!!! Tell me about it. I went in October and got a fresh shot or PORSCHE in me and bought my R 4 weeks later
--- i think a 991 would suit you nicely.
Why cant you? ...and yes, it is a blast. From the second you walk out of the airport into the parking lot and start spotting German cars that you cant get in North America you know its on!!!!

I'm a broke student at the moment lol, can't swing a 4k trip. I guarantee you though that if you're still making the trip 2-3 years from now I will do everything possible to be a part of it, especially since Germany is on my top list of destinations I want to travel to.

Great Idea.
The Meilenwerk is awesome, I was there about 10 times in the last two to three years and it's always a pleasure.
Make sure to catch the 911 exhibition in the Museum!
I would suggest to drive the A81 from Stuttgart down to Singen at the German-Swiss border. You can visit the Meilenwerk at Sindelfingen and after about 10-15km down the road it's flat out for about 120 km (make sure it's not a busy day because it's only a two lane Autobahn).
Have fun here with us

You should come along! I think flights from FLA are really reasonable too. Lets do it!
Oh man 100% understand. When i was a studet i didnt even know where Germany was so you have plenty of time. As for doing this trip - i hope i am still rocking and rolling in a few years time - so yes, when you are ready well be waiting

Thanks for the post. Meilenwerks is so cool. I am excited to return. The road you suggested is the road i took last time and its great. The open part of the Autobahn where you are talking about was GREAT if i remember correctly - lots of twists and turns from what i remember - oh and the "unrestricted" part too
Yea its pretty amazing. Everyone who has ever gone with me on this trip has been BLOWN AWAY by the cars, the people, the food, the beers, and the overall fun we have. I am addicted and would go more if i didnt have this stupid thing here in the states holding me back (a job
