you guys don`t get the picture...
the Boxster S is being forced to stay way below its means..the same with the Cayman
Furthermore,if you have been waiting years for the next gen to come out and all what you get is a mere 5hp plus some weight shedding it`s disappointing
especially if you know that more is possible (Cayman R,Boxster Spyder etc)

the Boxster feels great with 265,295,310 and 320hp,BUT the edge, the last little surge of power to not loose time on the straights after all the fun in the corners is simply still missing
and what extremely sucks is that the engine really needs revs..and down low it feels rather weak

it`s been a long story with the Boxster/Cayman crowd being held down to keep a safe distance to the 911s...
and the latest revealing shows that again

I think Porsche has nailed it again... this is the best looking yet and I am sure they will sell 1000000000 of them. I can't wait to see Cayman, Boxster Spyder, R versions...

See, I don't mind the Caymans as much because to me they have just an extra little bit of power that the Boxster lacks imo. Yes, the Cayman could be a beast if given the power it really deserves, but I like the range of power for the Cayman better than the Boxster for what is essentially the same car with a roof.

I agree though about the extra 5hp...not really even a change. I am hopeful the new Cayman gets a little more bump up than that.

My issue is more with the Boxster and the lack of increase from the previous model, not lack of overall potential.

Link to the Exclusive Boxster brochure, UK version. Not the full one, but a little more info and pictures.

I really like the looks of this. Now to pick a color combo:

White on Red (black wheels)
Red on Black (black wheels)
Silver on Red (Silver wheels)
Black on Red (Black wheels)
Lime Gold on Black (silver wheels)

I was at the Porsche Museum last weekend and there was a new white Boxster parked outside at the factory - it looked awesome - a little bigger than the current but very strong stance.... should be a great car.
