I like your design better then the Porsche one
what are the holes on the top and bottom of the headlight area for on the Porsche one ?

Thank you! The ones from Porsche are disguised test mules. I assume the holes (which are apart of the camouflage) are vents so the small slits in the lenses can get air to them.
