Making the Boxster Spyder into a Supercar.
We at TPC Racing have been huge advocates of Mid Engine Porsche since the beginning... Not until the Boxster debuted in 1997 were we an owner of one.
Seeing the potential of the original Boxster made us want more... our first production FI system for a watercooled Porsche was based on that car:
We sold hundreds of those systems to clients all over the world and still have local cars coming in to get serviced with the system on them.
Fast forward until 2006... Fresh off of the heels of a 2006 GT Class win of the Rolex 24 Hours of Daytona we procured our second Mid Engined Porsche... a 2006 Cayman S... Suspension and chassis development came first, making the car run fantastic lap times around our favorite circuits... Next was the thirst for power... In comes the original TPC Racing Turbo Cayman.
That was one of the first days I met Mike Levitas back in May of 2007 at my primary place of employment, I might have even been the first person to review the pre-production system... I quickly signed on with Mike/TPC and havent looked back.
Following the standard Turbo system w/piggy back controller came the ATP:2 Turbo system utilizing larger injectors and flash tuning, then a bigger turbo and boost controlling...
We were also an integral part of one of the biggest Cayman Builds of All Time!
The most recent development piece for the 987.1 car came in the form of a 3.7L 10.5:1 Compression built motor turbo setup...

We have always been in the business of making the 986/7 Platform what it should have been...
It is not a secret that we have a had Boxster Spyder for a while now... Spending a lot of time sorting the chassis and learning the new Siemens ECU has be a great process... Accumoto Motorsport, our premiere Mid West installer has even released the first TPC Racing Turbo Spyder.

Took some more pictures this morning of the fitting of the system on the PDK car and also on a 986 S next to it... Notice the size difference between the two transmissions. The PDK at the widest part if 5" wider... right where the IC would go.
