WTT: Silver Spyder wheels for Black ones

TS,

Anyone out there have some oem Black Boxster Spyder wheels they would trade me for my silver ones? My wheels have 1600 miles on them and are perfect. Lets work something out...

Just get yours powdercoated. We just did a set for a customer and the powdercoater only charged about 100/wheel. shipping wheels back and forth will cost that much, at least.

Yea, i am aware of that process, but from what i have been told, it doesnt leave the little silver ring around the lip like the OEM black wheel. Also, what is the deal with the color crests when you do this? Did you also powdercoat them but leave the colored crest?

Would be awesome if you could post a pic!

You can either have the caps masked and painted or buy the OEM porsche ones.
You can't powder coat them as the oven will melt the plastic.

Thanks for the reply. Shoulda just got the black wheel option from the start but i wasnt sure --- now i just want them black w a little silver lip and black center caps. Is that so much to ask?
