Well, you know my opinion (see avatar)!

I'm having mine powder coated locally... ALso working with the factory rep to have my "contrasting color" option #519 done in black vs. silver. Hence the delayed production for me.

Yep Sport Buckets are great. I'm a big dude and I fit fine. Even my wife loved them on our drive cross-country. Plus they look AMAZING.

ditto.

I'm 6', 210# and fit fine.

If you don't like them you can easily sell/swap them to get standard sport seats or something from the aftermarket with $$ left over. No brainer for someone getting a R model (bucket seat standard).

PAG has released option 26471 - Delete "Porsche" Side Stripes - for the Cayman R.

This option is now available and can be added to all changeable Cayman R orders.



Looks like this guy is waiting on a Cayman enthusiast to fill his allocation still

That's a nice option with model delete designation 498.
