She turned to me and casually said "Sure why not", as if trading her usual Yaris driving technique for that thing was something every girl does at some point during the day.

So we got in the car, and I began explaining how it's rather different from what she's used to, that the clutch is like stepping on a bowling ball and how it takes time getting used to that together with a lightweight flywheel. I managed to say, "This car is rather different from what you are used t....", before she smoothly exited the driveway and was on the highway on-ramp, with perfect shifts and car control the whole time. She drove back the whole way, across the country at around 100 mph for hours and hours, while still maintaining massive respect for it.

And if this post had been an Anne of Green Gables novel, I would have said that we married and lived happily ever after, but we didn't. She's now with some hairy kunt who doesn't even have a car. What a waste . . .
A woman who actually knows how to drive? Yeah, and the other day I was giving piano lessons to the tooth fairy.

If the girl's dad has a Boxter, then it might be likely that he's a Teamspeed guy as well. One look at this thread and he probably sent his daughter off to the convent.

Just in case the original poster comes back to this thread again: if you are driving an insured vehicle with permission of the owner, you are covered.

On their way to the dealer service dept.

In truth I have my eye on a Carrera S at the local vendor. Just waiting to see if they'll come down a little near year-end.

Fly out here and go for a drive with my wife and you'll never say that again.

Don't bet her drinks either she'll be drinking her double grey goose rocks before you find the bar
