Soo glad that after 9 pages this thread finally delivered.
And I'll bite.. NO WAY a CLK430 is getting to 60 in any less than high high HIGH 5's. And it's not a 3300lb car. Some info:
Engine
•The CLK 430 was the larger of the CLK vehicles in 2000. It had overhead cam and three valves per cylinder to go with its multi-point fuel injection system. The 430 put out 275 horsepower and still managed 18 miles to the gallon in the city and 25 on the highway.
Performance
•The car could accelerate to 60 miles per hour in 6.2 seconds, and could complete the quarter-mile in 15.5 seconds, reaching a speed of 92 miles per hour. The car could easily cruise in excess of 100 miles per hour.
Handling
•The car weighed 3,666 pounds, which made it stable on the road. Its Electronic Stability Program aided the driver while driving by making minor adjustments to steering. ABS brakes on front and rear would stop it at 60 miles per hour in 112 feet.
