That's a pretty rape-tastic estimate-- is that from a dealer? I would have expected 10-15k assuming nothing structural is tweaked. Very unlikely to be a total, though if you were not at fault I would go after loss of value.
Fortunately you're okay, and hopefully the prius got the worst of it.
