Boxster Build

Hey guys/gals,

What I am looking to do is build my 997 boxster up into a show car. I was wondering if anyone could give me links to sites with good quality parts and some pictures that might give me some ideas. The car is red, and I am thinking of a two-tone black on red color scheme. Any ideas and info would be greatly appreciated.

Here are some interesting cars for you to look at that are red...

It's a 987, not 997. 997= 911.

987= Midengined cars.

Welcome to the TEAM!

I'm MOSTLY looking for aesthetic as I am not hugely tech savvy. It is a stock '97 Boxster. The only thing I have done to it is replaced the stock exhaust with straight pipes.

Well technically it's a 986.

Ok, regardless of the nomenclature, I want to make it more of a head-turner. I need guidance; not correction.

Okay Tomlins_Afro; what exactly are you seeking to do? When you envision your beloved 986 Boxster, what does it look like?

Do you want massive wings and air scoops? Spinners? Or nice forged wheels from HRE and FABspeed exhaust system, with 'Ring shredding performance?

I don't want all that gaudy "ricer" crap that people throw on hondas (wings that rival a 747's) I want a sleek body kit, maybe an aftermarket hood, probably koenig wheels, and I want to do a two-tone paint job. As for interior I'm thinking switching out the seats for Momo buckets, a full red powder coated roll cage, new gauge covers, extra gauges, and maybe some other stuff.
