Although a lot of people would say that it is way too much for a Cayman, which is "just" a hardtop Boxster, and that you should get a Carrera or Carrera S for that kind of money, I would disagree.

At that price point, I would consider either a loaded out Cayman S build or a used 7.1 GT3. The GT3 may or may not be appropriate for you, though.

See what happens when you ask for opinions? Million different responses.

Moreover; this is EXACTLY what most potential Cayman S buyers go through, and I'd say roughly 95% of those clients end up getting a 997.

Forget the GT3, only a handful of whackos (I KNOW who you are!!!) will love that car as a daily- as GREAT as that car is.

I'd get (for the money) a 2010 C2S coupe. As fast as a MkI GT3 with all the creature comforts for long drives while listening to cool tunes.

GT3 is a halo car; and as much as I adore that car; it's still not the perfect daily for 9.2/10 Porsche people.
