Resurrection Build: TPC Racing Turbo for Track Use

This client's car threw a rod because of an oiling issue(stock motor and slicks)... So, here is a recent build that we took on... New motor and all

So here we have Bruce's Car...

Blown engine in need of life support.

New Engine from porsche... Note that we are using a 3.4L motor, not a 3.6 or 3.8L... Let it be known that we love the 3.4L motor. Yes a bigger motor would be another option but we LOVE THE 3.4L motor.

The list of modifications to bruce's car are quite extensive. I will let him fill you in with his plans.

A few more pictures!

Preparing to install the new oil sump.

Updates...

Engine is currently back in the car... suspension is next.

Wow, that's a pretty compact turbo setup! Nice work guys. Can't wait to see some dyno figures.

great looking turbo setup, incredibly inpressed by your work! I already see Bilstein's what other suspension work is going on?

as long as teh factory VOS is functional it is a good unit. We prefer them to the x51.

The oiling on this car is modified by a company from germany called TTP. we find it to be a good unit and this is our first experience with the system.

The car had the PASM bilsteins on it. We hot rod them(change spring rates and programming on the PASM box itself.

So, in the end this car will be a Stage 3+ Suspension.

Moving full speed ahead today...

This is us hotrodding the front Pasm bilsteins to make the car work right...

And mike, hard at work.

Tom, comparing the thickness of the coils from our new 2.5ID race springs to the stock bilsteins...
