For that amount, I'd rather drive a very very boring car than pay that amount for a 211hp boxster.

Never been to Norway, but I'm kinda glad now. I would be dirt poor and riding a bicycle, unless there's bicycle tax.

Maybe a stupid question, do people in Norway make significantly more money, on average?\

Edit* Jesus, 208K Boxster!?! I'm going nuts here.
Gotta pay for all those nice social programs and extended vacations somehow.

that`s why you have friends in Germany who run the car on their name and save northern Europeans a lot of money

charnph is an unknown quantity at this point
What they do in Thailand is that they detune it before import then the dealer retune it up to stock spec at the showroom...i think MTM also does this with Audi in Thailand....base boxster and cayman still cost around 200,000 USD though so dont be jealous

Jeez. What's a Lambo 560 cost in Norway, $1M?

Wow didn't expect that, they are actually more expensive here.

(Boxster is $97k and 911 is $175k. Base models.)

Sorry for all the questions but is the annual roadtax for cars very high in Sweden? In Holland you pay ~$2k a year for a car like a 911. The amount of tax liable depends on the car's weight, type of fuel and in which tax district you live.

Generally, the road tax is not that high for cars, although diesel's have a pretty hefty fee attached to them.
Don't know what the road tax is for a 997, but for a Panamera Turbo, it's 450 bucks a year.
