Fabspeed Motorsports 2009+ DFI Boxster/Cayman Maxflo Muffler System

Fabspeed Motorsports now offers a Maxflo Muffler system for the new 2009+ DFI Boxster/Cayman automobiles. Similar to the current system we have available for the 987 Boxster/Cayman, the kit includes dual-canister Maxflo mufflers with dedicated 3.5” polished tips, and secondary catbypass “axle” pipes which bolt directly to the stock headers or aftermarket headers. This system is a direct replacement for the factory muffler and saves around 5lbs and improves power by +8HP/9 ft-lbs of torque to the rear wheels. All hardware necessary for installation is included in the muffler system and installation is very simple with instructions provided on the website. www.fabspeed.com
--Constructed from C.N.C. mandrel bent, 14-16 gauge T304 stainless steel.
--2.0"/52mm inlet pipes vs. 1.5"/38.1mm stock inlet pipes.
--No Check Engine Light!
--50 state emission/inspection compliant.

DYNO CHART

Fabspeed is currently testing a Sport Header with 200 cell German imported HJS sport catalytic converters to accompany the Maxflo exhaust system. This is a very similar design to the 2005+ 987 Boxster/Cayman Sport headers which feature a 3-into-1 high velocity merge collector and HJS catalytic converters. Copper gaskets will be included with our sport headers so you do not have to reuse the slim factory gaskets. We will have these available by Fall and will keep everyone updated regarding
power.
