My car has been in several magazines, television, websites, etc. I like to change the vinyls every now and then.

Difficulty level: depends on vinyl design

Tools needed:
heat gun
spray bottle
Johnson's baby soap
distilled water
70% rubbing alcohol bottle
squeegee
exact o knife
shammy
an extra pair of hands
a garage or cool shaded area



Mix water and alcohol 70/40 (70% water, 40% alcohol) in the spray bottle.

Add one tablespoon of johnson's baby soap and mix well.

spray the area of application on your car, spray the back of the vinyl you are peeling generously.

apply the vinyl onto the car, the solution allows you to move it around until it is in the correct place.

use the squeegee and in one direction apply pressure to the vinyl.



use the heat gun to dry the vinyl on a medium setting.





begin to peel back the transfer tape, for intricate graphics, tear the transfer tape in strips, like cheap toilet paper tears



use the heat gun if it begins to lift to dry any solution, do not overheat it will damage the vinyls.





this takes patience, if the vinyls lift, pull the transfer tape off as you hold down the vinyls with the squeegee.



you may have to wait and allow the heat from the heat gun evaporate the moisture.



be patient. on breaks of the car, use the exact o knife and cut down the middle of the vinyls. briefly use the heat gun to help the edges be more sticky. this helps to curl the vinyl around edges.



repeat these steps for the rest of the vinyls, this was the most difficult part.



after the vinyls have been on the car for at least an hour, hose your car off on the light mist setting so that there is not alot of pressure on the vinyls. The soap will all run off
