Arrow SharkWerks Cayman S in Excellence April 2009 Issue

Hey guys,
The April '09 Excellence is starting to hit shelves and its cover story is a neat one: Blakt Out's supercharged 997S vs. SharkWerks' Cayman S RS350 vs. a modified 997 Turbo. The authors drive the three cars for days, over hundreds of miles along the coast of northern California and there are many beautiful pictures in the magazine.

It's a good roundup of the benefits of each platform and shows what you might expect from each as a street car if you choose to modify the engine, suspension, and chassis.

There's a preview of the article on Excellence's site here.

Subscribers should be receiving the magazine any day, and it will be on shelves soon after.

Dude, when I clicked on this link, the page was offset with me able to see your avatar and not your post. I was like, "Wow. I like his wheels!" Then you said that! How funny!

Yeah, it is, isn't it? Bob Chapman is amazing. I was driving and he was hanging out my sunroof. He's awesome! Very good guy too. Wait till you see all the pics in print.

I'm going to have him print hires posters for me. He offered. I HAD to accept!

Jared

Check this one out. It's me in it. I think this is so cool, in a faux cocky way. I was going to move the car out so he could get another pic and he told me to turn around and stand still. I just wouldn't really pose like that. Twas a joke. So funny. We had such a great time!

By the way, I should say that these are the new C93 HREs. All matte black with a red pinstripe.

I think that every wheel I ever buy for the rest of my life will be an HRE. They have dealt with me in a very impressive, professional manner that still allows me to know that every person there loves their job, their product, and their customers. Seriously.

You know... I'm really starting to think that I prefer the look of 18s more than the others. Anybody else? Maybe it's because they have the most feel. I don't know. I love them though.

I actually sold my big Brembos just so I could fit 18s. Love 'em.

Haha cool pix Jarod! I'm wondering how many miles you'd done by then... Pete works ya' hard! I swear I think we did 600 plus miles in one day (starting at 6am and finishing at 4am!).
