Sounds like you made the right choice in skipping the TT. Let's see some updates and let me know if you end up doing the PSS9's on your own, I'm no pro when it comes to DIY so I'm afraid of doing my own suspension upgrade.

Thanks guys.
I've decided to have the PSS9 and sway bars installed at my local P-shop...I'm just not sure I'm up to the task. So the car's going to go in early January for the suspension.

Last weekend I installed the passenger side GT3 seat, Sharkwerks fire ext bracket, and a GT3 6 point harness. It took me about 3 hours! The seat looks and feels great and I can't wait to put the driver side in. Sorry,....no good pics now! I put the seats on the bathroom scale....
-Original power seat 52 pounds
-GT3 seat plus Sharkwerks mount plus 6-point harness 33 pounds

I also got the B&M SSK which I'll put in over the holidays. I might splurge on a Fabspeed too.

Nice work Dave, good call on getting the rest installed. The SSK isn't that hard but you'll still need an hour or so. I just picked up a Fabspeed exhaust as well and I LOVE the way it sounds with the EVO intake.

Great Project Coochas

I will follow with attention this build. I like the 986 very much. It's the only Porsche I've ever driven

Very cool project! With the prices on 97-99 boxsters I can't think of a better platform to have a fun AutoX car with just a few tweaks.

Very interested to see further updates!

Thanks everyone!
I'll take some pics after I get the other GT3 seat installed.

That color is so not you, Dave! You have the awesomest red Cayenne and the awesomest yellow 997 ... and a black 986? That doesn't make any sense! I demand you to paint it in a funky color.

And awesome project by the way.
