VIDEO: 2014 Range Rover Sport Spotted
Masquerading as a Volvo but of course we all know better...

Today we can bring you exclusive video footage of the new Range Rover sport out and about for a little testing. As reported last week by our contributing editor JCoyle, you might be think this is just another early prototype of the new Range Rover wearing heavy camouflage—but you’d be wrong. What you’re looking at are actually the very first images of the all new Range Rover Sport. When comparing the two cars, it’s clear the vehicle pictured here has completely different headlights and tail lamps.

It also features a much lower profile, with lower side windows and a flatter rear window than the standard Rangie. And while today’s Sport is based on the Discovery chassis, the new model will share underpinnings with the still-not-on-the-market new Range Rover. Not coincidentally, it will also make use of the same engines: two petrol V8 units with 375 and 510 hp, plus one diesel-V8 delivering 313 hp.
