Our Teamspeed spies bring us the best shots yet of the all-new super-lux SUV
Our teamspeed spies have caught the much anticipated all-new Range Rover without all the heavy camouflage cladding of the past reports. Spotted near Land Rover’s HQ in Gaydon, we get our best look to date at the super luxurious 4x4 before it’s official reveal this September.
The new Range Rover will be both lighter and more fuel efficient than the current model to the extensive use of aluminum for the bodywork and platform, making the new Rover at least 300-400 kg lighter.
Under the hood power choices will include improved versions of the current models 4.4 TDV8 and 5.0-litre supercharged V8. The new 375bhp supercharged V6 engine from the Jaguar F-Type will also find a home in the new Rover's line-up.

Subscribed, love the weight loss. Hope they make improvements to things like keyless entry, NAV traffic. No other SUV gives you such a commanding view and feeling like the full size rover. The RRSC already does 0-60 in 5.1 sec in its current weight, I can only imagine.
And if they get better torsional stiffness to the chassis like MB got with their new aluminum chassis, that would improve ride quality even more.
