Bentley Launches Limited Edition 'Royal Diamond Jubilee' Mulsanne
Celebrating The Queen’s Birthday and her Diamond Jubilee year, Bentley has officially unveiled the first example of its Mulsanne Diamond Jubilee Edition.
The Bentley Mulsanne Diamond Jubilee Edition was designed by the craftsmen and women of Bentley’s Mulliner division who are also the coach-makers of the State Limousine presented to Queen Elizabeth II in 2002.
“The respect and genuine interest shown towards so many aspects of British life, and most especially The Royal Family, has made China a unique experience for our marque as well as many other UK businesses,” comments Richard Charlesworth, Director of Royal and VIP Relations, Bentley Motors.
Bentley’s latest creation, the Mulsanne Diamond Jubilee Edition, is powered by a 6.75 liter twin turbo V8 engine, which is developing a total output of 505 BHP and it has a peak torque of 1020 Nm (752 lb-ft). The luxurious model can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.3 seconds before hitting a top speed of 296 km/h (184 mph).
Representing a year of Her Majesty’s reign, Bentley will produce only 60 units of the Mulsanne Diamond Jubilee Edition.

Pretty awesome. Until the blue leather. Also, what the hell is Richard Charlesworth talking about:
“The respect and genuine interest shown towards so many aspects of British life, and most especially The Royal Family, has made China a unique experience for our marque as well as many other UK businesses,”
Maybe it was launched in China? In any case. Great looking car.
