Geneva 2012: Range Rover Evoque Convertible Concept Sparks Up Plenty Of Chatter
The Range Rover Evoque Convertible Concept is one of the most talked about vehicles at this years Geneva auto show. Based on the three-door Evoque, the convertible features a fully retractable fabric roof with a roll-over protection system, four seats and a drop down tailgate. Land Rover claims that it has chopped off the roof with minimal changes to the car's weight and torsional rigidity.
Land Rover Design Director, Gerry McGovern said: "This study is not a traditional convertible design execution - instead we have worked with the balance of the Evoque's lines to retain its distinctive shape and create something that is unique and, we believe, highly desirable."
The concept sits on large 21-inch wheels and is finished in a stunning grey metallic finish that gleams under the Geneva Lights. On the inside we find typical Rang Rover stylish leather seats and features such as Land Rover's exclusive Terrain Response system, surround cameras and park assist. If the convertible does make it into production it would be available with a range of petrol and diesel engines, as well as two- or four-wheel drive.

It’s lines seem somewhat effeminate to me is all. You’re right though. It’s still an ’87 Volvo w/ armor for this hypothetical daughter of mine.
