James May (Captain Slow) puts the new Evoque to the test in American Southwest. See how it measures up on the drive from Death Valley to Las Vegas in the video below.

Maybe my expectations were too high, but I thought it would be a little more successful on the rocks.

I'll be keeping this particular Panny for awhile, lol. Just passed 42k miles and I'm supposed to be around 24.

We are purchasing for our daughter that will be driving soon.

Drove one around a few days ago. Overall it's a nice little truck. It's got good pickup and feels lighter and tighter than an LR3 or a Sport. Switching back into the full sized RR felt like driving a tank, but the supercharged was much faster than the Evoque. Very different feels.

The interior is fantastic, especially with the panoramic glass roof (not sure if it's standard or just an option). The back seat is definitely snug, but not too bad for the size of the car. I feel like it would be the perfect car for a 16-30 year old girl who likes cute things. Not necessarily a car I would drive, but I'm sure some people will love it.
