There was talk about it, but he stated that there was no possible way to produce a show like Top Gear in America with all the sponsors, corporate advertising etc. He said it would just turn into a glorified commercial, so he had no interest - Thats why they attempted it with Tanner Foust, Adam Carolla and some other guy....
