Bentley continental GT replacement?

As the thread says, a friend of mine wants to purchase a speed but is on the fence since the model came out in 02.

TIA

According to the information I have heard, the absolutely new Continental will be presented next year, the most safe bet is Pebble Beach (calendar week 32), because I have information that next Continental, codenamed BY624, will go into production in calendar week 34 of the year 2010. The car most likely will be based on next generation Audi A8 platform, will be lighter, more efficient and will feature independently developed body and interior with no common part with other VW brands, as current Continental. Weight reduction is the key point to the success developing next Conti, expect this car to feature all aluminium chassis and aluminium body off course, as far as I know they want to achieve serious weight reduction and efficiency increase. Engines most likely will be completely reworked due to weight reduction and emission norms, expect base model to feature 6.3 litre engine with power output about 600 hp for the base model and about 650 hp for the next Speed model line. Limousine most likely will be presented early 2011 and GTC version will likely show up earlier about mid-2011.

That is what I know so far. I am waiting with passion to see what the next Continental will be in reality just because I love this car.
