Last week I had the oppty to drive these cars at Monticello.. in a word "awesome". 621 BHP and amazing stopping power.. we did all sorts of exercises i.e. 0-80-0 in a very short straight.. slalom courses, evasive steering and finally some hot laps with us driving and then some pros from Skip Barber taking us out..

The SS is still 5200 lbs, but drives more like a 3500 lb vehicle.. I LOVED the red/blk wheel combo..

PS As for paint, a matte finish is available on these as a cool $32K option...
