battery tender questions

just got back my conti gt from the dealership for minor issues and service...i was told that they had to re-calibrate my "bugs" b/c if u dont drive the car for more than 3 days, the battery drains alittle and may set off some issues...does this sound right? they told me to buy a battery tender if im not driving it more than 3 days...i use the car on wkends...

does anyone have any input??? as well as any good techs in the pasadena area or nearby? thanks in advance

3 Days?????

3 weeks would make sense, 3 days seems absurd.

I've always been scared of trickle chargers/battery tenders because i've heard horror stories of them starting fires.

That said constantly replacing Porsche batteries is not fun.

no issue w a battery tender after years of use. battery is essentially good as new.

3 day seem extreme but if u only drive it on wkends, i'd get a tender.
