Oddly enough people will pay for it.

Ferrari just made 16M Spider, oddly but people are paying for it.

Loving that interior, as well as the smoked headlight casings! I'm a little torn on the front bumper and I'm not a fan of the hood vents.

I'm confused as to what market segment this is supposed to cater for? If I want a hardcore track orientated car, I'd get a GT2 or Scud. Where is this supposed to fit in?

There many exotics today that are hard to put in one market segemnt. Just like V12 Vantage you ordered, not hardcore oriented, worser performance numbers that on GT2 or Scud, pricey and not so comfortable for dd use. But there will be customers for that car - it is full of style and passion. DBS, much worser in all dimensions than claimed competitor 599 GTB, Aston claims that it is supercar, but in reality it is much more GT rather that supercar, especially with auto transmission. Same with DBS Convertible, what is a market niche for it if Ferrari California, F-car is not so pricey, more practical, have better performance than DBS Volante. But there are customers for that cars, just becuase they are different.

Speaking about Ferrari, latest 16M Spider, there is hard to define market niche for hardcore convertible, personally I would take Scud coupe if I want to go hardcore and to enjoy track fun or ordinary 430 Spider if I am a weekend poseur. It is hard to unite those two market niches into one, but there are customers for 16M Spider also.

Same with GT Supersports, this car is for driver who want more comfortable and dd usable car with amazing performance, aproximatly as impressive as on 599 GTB and I am amzed with Bentley saying that this car will not diappoint on track either. I have plans to trade my GTC for this beast, I wanted to go with Ferrari 599 GTB before, but now I found that Supersports is a car in Bentley range, which is made exactly to satisfy my taste with Bentley comfort and astonishing performance.

Exactly. But, this thing would look sexy as hell in black.

I get that completely, but with this new Bentley - it's like the most extreme cross-over I've encountered. They really squeezing every last sale they can from this model.

I totally agree with you on this. But I must admit this is quite succesful special edition. Bentley had gone new pace with combining "green" technology with great performance, it sound great to me. Personally I like this car and will think about getting it.
