Nothing too interesting to report at the moment but I enjoy reading about yours! Just working on finishing up my helicopter instrument rating hopefully in the next couple of weeks. Being under the hood all the time doesn't make for the most interesting of stories.

Wow ... Must be intense ... I have about 10 Hrs Dual in those things with the blades on top ... hard enough flying them when you are able to see outside ... Not an easy transition ... Any pix ??

I haven't been taking many pics from the air lately Once I complete my training though! But yes, at the beginning the workload was pretty heavy, especially since we don't have the luxury of autopilot in the ones we train in. But as you know, with time and experience it starts to become more natural, so now my brain doesn't feel scrambled after every flight.

But here are a couple pics I managed earlier. The one was in a friend's C172 over Puget Sound, and the other is me getting blasted by the EC135 during my preflight.

Pretty excited ... I have an upcoming aerobatic flight with Patty Wagstaff in mid December ... Can't wait !!!
