Thumbs up Civilian Harrier Jump Jet

This is the world's first Civilian owned Harrier Jump Jet. This is the British version, the Sea Harrier FA/2. The owner Art Nalls is a former Marine Harrier Pilot that is now a real estate developer. Good for him for pursuing a dream and actually owning the aircraft he served in, not many guys get to do that. I'm waiting for the day a Tomcat driver gets to buy one.

I thought this was really cool. Check out the websites, there are articles and pictures. On his website you can see videos of it. He will be showing it a this years Oshkosh Airshow.

He can't and won't be able to get anywhere near the Sukhoi. That plane will outperform and spank it in every category and then some. The Harrier is not a supersonic jet, the Sukhoi is (Mach two be exact, almost twice as fast).

I am kidding. I am well-versed in world military aircraft and their capabilities. The Sukhoi I'm referring to is another privately-owned warplane (Su-27 in this case). Neither will be armed, hence neither will be shot down. Next time I'll be EXTRA obvious in my commentary.

He's referring to the SU-27 post that I made about 2 SU-27's that are for sale in Illinois.

That's so awesome! Imagine owning your own jump jet! A lot of fun could be had with that. Even cooler that he's a former Harrier pilot!

Those planes stink. I do an airstrike where there are tons of enemies but they only kill like two. I'd much rather buy a civilian Pavelow.
