Right, it all depends on your needs (need to carry x people, range, fuel, speed) and taste.

You can get a great Cessna 172 for $35k if that is what you need. There are just as many option and deals out there in planes as there are with cars.

That's a great little airplane. I really like it. It's not so bad price wise imo, there are worse airplanes out there that are more expensive.
