Hudson River ditching - 3D reconstruction

This is absolutely fascinating. We've all heard the audio of the ATC tape but having a visual actually realizing just how fast and how few options were available is astonishing.

Wow....That is crazy! Puts it into perspective on what that pilot actually did to save the passengers on that flight.

That's what always strikes me. In the movies everything's a mess with a bunch of swearing ... real life makes the people involved look so much more competent and professional! Wow.

That's experience speaking, and they drill all the emergency stuff through your skull in flight school. Nevertheless he did a GREAT job!

First thing they told me in flight school as I walked through the door, to have my first ground lesson - "If you get nervous up there, you will die." Very reassuring...

Wow, this video definitely puts a different perspective on things. It seems that if he made the decision to land at Teterboro or Newark, it would have been disastrous. Thank goodness for a clear head.
