those 2 guys up front should never see a cockpit from inside again...
not even a glider cockpit.
I guess he really tried to look out of the window to spot some visual references...
and if he was really not capable of flying IFR along with the GPS he could at least have climbed to a safe altitude in that sector.

What is wrong with this idiot!?! Why would you fly int IMC when you are just a VFR pilot??? I can understand if you are flying around and it just happens to get ugly (unlikely), at which point you ask ATC for help and guidance. But to fly low, fly nap of the earth in those conditions is just stupid. That guy should not be allowed to ever take anyone up in a plane again. Why why why!?! It is just beyond me.
