Yeah, Cirrus is a great aircraft, but it's like a 911 - you can lose your mind checking boxes. All of a sudden you get the total, and you have to step back and say does it really make sense to spend that much on a piston single? But sweet planes . . .

500-600 for an unpressurized piston single just doesn't seem right to me.

i haven't had seat time in a twin diamond, but do have some in the DA40.
they make good airplanes
