Had a great day with the family at the airshow yesterday. Here are a few of the many pics I shot. It was an overcast day so pardon the differences in the post processing, but I think they mostly turned out well. I've got a ton more to sift through but wanted to go ahead and throw some up. Great pictures! My dad always took me to airshows when I was growing up, I really miss doing that.

 

Must've been awesome to see the Blue Angels. I'd really love to see them in action some day. Nice pics, by the way.

Thanks for the pics. I wanted to go but family was in town. I went to the DOD joint services open house last week where the thunderbirds put on a great show. Do you live in the DC area?

 

Yep, southern MD. I ended up traveling for work so I missed the Andrews air show, which is an awesome airshow but such a PITA with the whole parking, security checkpoints, etc. situation just to go. At Pax you can still just drive right onto the base, take your blankets/chairs (no coolers) and still have a great time. Pax doesn't have nearly 1/3 of the static displays that Andrews has, but it is still a good time.
