Booking your flights!

How many of you actually check the type of aircraft you're flying on before choosing your flight booking!

Alot of people I know dont care about the plane, they pay for business class tickets without even seeing to see which aircraft they're flying on!

If you can spare flexible departure and return times.. then why not pick the flight that flies the more comfortable aircraft?

Example..

I flew from Bahrain into Bangkok ariport on the morning flight which was a luxurious sleeper seat confirg on an A330.. only to find out that a couple of friends of mine took the evening flight ( same ariline ) on the older 70 degree reclining bullshit seats on the A340.

And they paid the same fare!

Just booked my tickets to Miami the other day. I didn't pick the aircraft, doesn't matter to me as long as I get to my destination safely. I'm flying down with a few friends so it was all about the times what was more convenient for us, not the type of aircraft.

I do on the international flights. I just returned from a trip to London, East Africa, and Moscow and I made sure I knew what type of aircraft was being used on each leg even though I was riding in the back of the bus. That's just me though.

Airlines take advantage of these types of passengers, especially those travelling on business whereby their employers pay the costs!

I remember walking into an Air France aircraft and looking at the business class seats and the economy seeats.. the only difference was COLOR!!!!!

Ryanair? With them you always know what you get. A non adjustable seat that is hard as stone and almost no leg room.

LOL! Nope! I just book and go.

As long as I'm not sitting on a canvas seat, with 150 pounds of gear, I'm good. Even better if I land with the aircraft. All the better if I score an ever so slight wider seat that reclines just a little bit, and the beer flows freely...

I do that with Eva.

For deluxe economy, I prefer the old 747 where you get to sit at the nose section.

The A300 you get to sit in the back because it is a wider body and they can fit more people.

For business, the A300 was nice, and we had a hufe bathroom with the changing table exclusively for us (we were the only people in business with a kid).
